Wade referred to Saturday’s show as “the last show for a while,” adding, “it’s nice to end it here,” as someone in the crowd shouted, “Welcome home, Morgan!”

Holiday market unites craft and community
Along with traditional Farmers Market offerings, the Holiday Market added carolers and a visit from Santa. Children were especially interested in the “Toy Giveaway” tables.
Small Town Christmas Parade delivers big time fun
There were lots of people in red Santa hats and a few Grinches at the Small Town Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 7. The town lit up with holiday spirit as families and friends gathered downtown, lining the streets for the beloved annual tradition.
Shoppers show up for Winterfest
More than 40 vendors included returning artists and groups, but there were also first-time Winterfest vendors represented. Hillsville Potter Bonnie Undseth, who has only been making pottery for a couple of years, drew a crowd in her studio room.
