Citizens completes fiber work in Wythe
Citizens is a member-owned Cooperative that has delivered telephone, Internet, and TV technology to Floyd County and surrounding communities for over 110 years. Citizens's office is located at 220 Webbs Mill Rd. in Floyd. Lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Local scouts take on Florida for annual winter trip
We donned wetsuits the next chilly morning and walked to the boat that would take us to snorkel with the manatees. The ground was cold on our bare feet but once in the water, the wetsuits did their magic and with snorkels and masks, we swam with many, many manatees.
