Floyd County Store announces the winners of the 2025 Gingerbread House Contest
In the Youth Category, the first-place Popular Vote was awarded to Della Migliozzi for "Della's Enchanted World." The Judges' Choice Award was presented to "Run Pete, Run" by Rochelle Grim, which also placed second for the Popular Vote.

FCA showcases work from young local artists
Floyd County High School’s annual exhibit, which is located in the Hayloft Gallery, features more than 200 works of art crafted by more than 100 students under the guidance of Aven Tanner and Sara Thompson.

The entries that receive the most online votes will receive the Popular Award. Other awards will be presented by a panel of local judges. View this year's creations in-person by strolling downtown — they are all displayed in the windows of businesses on south Locust Street.
