Virginia's Blue Ridge Music Festival (VBRMF) is hosting a classical concert by the Rainier Trio at The Presbyterian Church of Floyd at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18.

The concert will feature romanic favorites performed by violinist and violist brothers Kevin and Bryan Matheson with pianist Melia Garber. They are known worldwide for their vibrant and captivating performances.

Kevin and Bryan, as violin-viola duo, received critical acclaim at their Carnegie Weill Recital Hall debut as part of the Ibla Grand Prize competition winners tour and were awarded first prize in the 2023 Charleston International Music Competition, Contemporary Music Category. They have been recognized for their mesmerizing and spirited performances-two perfect virtuosos, playing as one.

Melia Garber, a native of Romania, has won numerous piano competitions, including first prize at the prestigious International Piano Competition in San-Bartholomeo Italy. Melia has performed concertos by Bach, Mozart, Liszt, and Grieg with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Timisoara, Romania.

VBRMF officials state that the concert in Floyd on Oct. 18 "will be remembered as one of the best of 2026."
