Inaugural Business Expo to feature 15 local enterprises
As the local business community continues to grow, the Expo is designed to help residents discover businesses they may not yet know about while also strengthening connections among local entrepreneurs.
The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce will host the first- ever Floyd County Business Expo at the Town Office Community Room (203 E. Oxford St.) from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
The event will feature 15 diverse local businesses, including several non-brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs, giving community members the opportunity to learn about services and resources available throughout Floyd County.

“We have so many talented business owners in Floyd County, including many who operate without storefronts,” said Kathy Fett, Executive Director of the Floyd
County Chamber of Commerce.
"This event is a chance for our community to meet them, learn about what they offer, and continue building a strong local business network,” Fett added
The Chamber hopes to make the Floyd County Business Expo an annual or biannual event as participation and interest continue to grow.

The event is free and open to the public.
Food will be available on site from The Vittle Wagon food truck from Turner Family Farms.
