Inaugural Chamber Business Expo planned for March

The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce is holding its first-ever Chamber Business Expo at Floyd Town Hall (203 W. Oxford St.) on Wednesday, March 18.

Set to take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., this inaugural event invites the public to discover and connect with the businesses that make Floyd County a vibrant place to live, work, and shop. The Expo will feature a diverse mix of local storefront businesses alongside home-based and non-brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore the full spectrum of Floyd’s business community in one convenient location.

"The Chamber Business Expo is designed to foster connection and collaboration among local businesses while increasing visibility and awareness within the community," the Expo announcement said. "Attendees will have the chance to meet business owners face-to-face, learn about local products and services, and build meaningful relationships. For participating businesses, the event provides a valuable platform to showcase their offerings, expand their networks, and grow their customer base."

Turner Family Farms' food truck, "The Vittle Wagon," will be on site for the Expo with food available for purchase, making it easy for attendees to stop by during their lunch hour and enjoy the event. The Expo is sponsored by Carter Bank, whose support is helping bring this first-of-its-kind event to the Floyd community.

The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce welcomes residents, business owners, and visitors to attend and celebrate the strength and diversity of Floyd County’s local economy.
