Murray and Obst are “are super excited for the opportunity to serve the community” and that they are hoping to “have as many people [at the opening] as possible.”

Fire and Fork is excited to serve a variety of smoked meats, seafood, brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, sausages, oysters, and half chickens. Murray said that they will also have “homemade, fresh, healthier sides” such as sweet potato salad, white bean salad, broccoli slaw, greens, seasonal shortcake, nut butter pudding.

Fire and Fork will be permanently located at Harvest Moon (227 N. Locust St.) and will also be available for catering.

Originally Fire and Fork was "just going to focus on catering," but Murray explained that after “the buzz and conversations coming around after the trailer and smoker arrival we decided to give the community what they are asking for”

Murray and Obst are proud that all of the food that they are creating is “made from scratch, with meats freshly cooked that day. Nothing is being reheated, frozen, or used again in the following service.” Murray and Obst said that they are “looking to add another fun layer to this already fun town."
