Bruises are the past.
They aren’t pretty like stained glass.
They have these reminders, first to last.
What could’ve been, but now the time has come to pass.
You pay attention, but it’s gone in a flash.
Too many bruises, made mindsets and souls clash.
Bruises are reminders yes, they aren’t pretty like stained glass.
