Finding something rare in this day and age – like patience, chivalry, or just good old fashioned courtesy — is getting harder indeed. It’s almost like finding something in a pearl mine.
"Pearl mine"
How many more times,
will they dig the mines?
Picking up pearls,
casting some at swines.
Will they hear the spirits speak?
Or the wind kiss the pines?
Will they laugh or weep?
Wait a week and change these minds.
When they find it,
will they return the tides?
Will they both not answer,
or tell away these lies?
No one knows, not one.
There’s no balance or lines.
Because they’ve got the rich,
the ones they find in the mines.
On the outer reaches,
they left us there in binds.
