"Signify" is quite an important word, mainly because it means to be the sign of, to indicate, or to make known of something important. It’s a pretty basic word, yet this week’s Reflection, identifies something far greater than the word itself.

“Signify”
Most times,
forget it, every time.
I pause to remember this vapor,
what it might signify.
I’m sick, so sick,
by this world outside.
Sometimes there’s no time,
only what matters inside.
Outside is blasphemy, envy,
temptation and pride.
Heavy boots work for hornets,
those tailored suits,
those left and right in time.
Abusing power to change us,
to hate and not from light’s shine.
A hoard can see it,
that envy, that come see me,
all that pride.
A whole new meaning,
a notion to signify.
