There were lots of people in red Santa hats and a few Grinches at the Small Town Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 7. The town lit up with holiday spirit as families and friends gathered downtown, lining the streets for the beloved annual tradition.

After being postponed because of a winter weather advisory, the festivities went off under blue skies and without a hitch. Children waved and clapped with delight while floats, marchers, dogs, and even horses joined in the fun.

Presented by the Floyd County Parks and Recreation, the parade brought the community together with creatively decorated floats and vehicles for a holiday celebration that was fun and meaningful.
