This week's Small Town Summer event at Warren G. Lineberry Park will feature music from Denim and Plaid, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, and local Handmade Music School students. The fun will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 2.

Denim and Plaid delivers a hard-driving, high-energy bluegrass experience that blends powerful vocals with masterful instrumental performances. Representing the next generation of bluegrass music, this talented youth band has quickly built a reputation for electrifying audiences with their passion, skill, and infectious energy.
Denim and Plaid will open the night of music in the park, leading into Rhonda Vincent and The Rage.

Rhonda Vincent is a firecracker of talent that powers one of the hottest bands in any genre of music today. From humble beginnings in the tiny town of Greentop, Missouri, Rhonda’s musical heritage traces back 5 generations of the Vincent family.
We offer locally sourced, insect and rot resistant hemlock, and lots of other species for just about any project.
We also can provide firewood, kindling, mulch, sawdust, and shavings.
Inside we produce paneling and flooring in various, often rustic local woods.

Founded in 2016, the Handmade Music School is a hub for traditional music education, celebrating the region’s rich musical heritage while fostering community and creativity. Specializing in the art of handmade music, the school offers a variety of workshops, classes, camps, special events, and private lessons in traditional Appalachian instruments such as the banjo, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. The Handmade Music School’s mission is to cultivate and strengthen community through experiences in music, dance, art, and food rooted in Appalachian traditions.
