In the Youth Category, the first-place Popular Vote was awarded to Della Migliozzi for "Della's Enchanted World." The Judges' Choice Award was presented to "Run Pete, Run" by Rochelle Grim, which also placed second for the Popular Vote.

‘Floyd’s finest’ to head to Philly for 2026 Thanksgiving Day Parade
Members of The Pride of Floyd County Marching Band are headed to Philadelphia, Pa., next Thanksgiving to perform in the 2026 Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will be broadcast live on Nov. 26. Floyd is the only school in the state this year to be selected to participate in the event.
Beyond the Tap: Floyd leaders meet to discuss future of PSA
No funding allocations were approved on Dec. 11, but members of each board agreed that they’d need to work together to secure a future for the locally operated PSA, which provides water to businesses and residences in town, and to County-run properties, including the Industrial Park.
