“The message I want to share is that giving back to others is a special, rewarding feeling for the soul and heart, and you never know how greatly it’ll impact somebody’s life,” Ryan Scott said. “For me, giving is better than receiving, and I look forward to it.”
Citizens sets annual meeting for next month
Anyone needing a proxy can stop by Citizens’ office weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and noon, to make arrangements.
Roberson Mill holds Fall Festival
“We wanted a place where people could come and sit because mills were once the center of the community before general stores,” said Jeff Rainey, VP of the FORM board. “Farmers would come here and get their grain ground and then talk about grain prices and all kinds of things."
