June Bug Center launches $25K campaign to mark 25 years
After 25 years of hard work by volunteers, JBC hosts 14-19 after school programs each semester, and between eight and 21 summer camps. A total of 420 local children were enrolled in JBC programs in 2024.
Local scouts take on Florida for annual winter trip
We donned wetsuits the next chilly morning and walked to the boat that would take us to snorkel with the manatees. The ground was cold on our bare feet but once in the water, the wetsuits did their magic and with snorkels and masks, we swam with many, many manatees.
