Local scouts take on Florida for annual winter trip We donned wetsuits the next chilly morning and walked to the boat that would take us to snorkel with the manatees. The ground was cold on our bare feet but once in the water, the wetsuits did their magic and with snorkels and masks, we swam with many, many manatees.
