Small Town Christmas Parade delivers big time fun
There were lots of people in red Santa hats and a few Grinches at the Small Town Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 7. The town lit up with holiday spirit as families and friends gathered downtown, lining the streets for the beloved annual tradition.

Of course, with so many sparkling displays popping up across Floyd, one question remains: "which one is the best?" There will be multiple rounds of voting for Best Decorated Home on the Floyd County Parks and Rec Facebook page, and one voting round to determine the Best Decorated Business.
Christmas Parade rescheduled for this Sunday
The procession will stage at the high school, make its way down Baker Street to south Locust, and turn right at the stoplight to show off their floats and spread holiday cheer along Main Street. It's estimated that the parade will last between 60 and 90 minutes.
