As the local business community continues to grow, the Expo is designed to help residents discover businesses they may not yet know about while also strengthening connections among local entrepreneurs.

“This event is a fun way for our community to come together, support local businesses, and celebrate the spirit of Floyd County,” said the Floyd County Chamber of Commerce. “We invite everyone to join us for an evening of great food, music, and shamrock shenanigans.”

Representatives will also host community meetings to share information about the importance of dark skies and the role local communities can play in protecting them. One is set to take place at the Hotel Floyd Conference Room (300 Rick Lewis Way) from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17.

The cookoff, held last fall at Citizens’ Floyd campus in partnership with the its Community Concert, brought the community together for an evening of friendly competition, live music, and support for local first responders.
