On Saturday, Nov. 8, from noon until 2 p.m., Phoenix Hardwoods and the humane society will present a Caturday adoption event to allow community members to meet adoptable and adorable furry friends. Phoenix Hardwoods is located at 101 E. Main St.

There is some age on Sonny, but his heart and body act like a young man, and he would love a family that is outdoorsy with older kids to hike with, but no cats (he is much too interested in them).
