Buffet fundraiser to benefit Floyd Humane Society

Musical acts featured throughout the event will include Hoppie Vaughan and The Ministers of Soul, Adam Dean Morrison, The Deer Run Drifters, Seph Custer, Billy Jo Chamber, Retrospect, Jeff Roberts, Jake and Jess, Tate Harman, and Ricky Trial.

Floyd County Humane Society will benefit from a special fundraiser hosted by Cabin Fever Charity Events on Saturday, May 30.

World class pulled barbecue will be the focal point of a large buffet that visitors can enjoy for $10. While there will be a variety of dishes available, attendees should also consider bringing a large side dish to contribute to the cause.

All proceeds raised during the May 30 fundraiser will benefit the Floyd County Humane Society's new facility fund.

Gates at 674 Coles Knob Rd. in Pilot will open at 11 a.m. rain or shine, and music will begin at 11:30. Admission is $10. Kids under 15 are admitted for free. Plus, bring your dog, and a donation will be made in loving memory of Ellie Mae, a sweet Golden Retriever.
