Class of 2026 gains alumni status next week

A new group of Floyd County Buffaloes receive their diplomas next week, and Floyd Times is celebrating graduates in a big way. The publication's special Graduation Edition will be available to purchase at retailers across the county starting May 27.

“While the Floyd County tradition is to have all of the graduates’ information published before the actual ceremony, printing afterward is a necessity this year because of the timing of some of the festivities and logistics for the printer," said Abby Whitt, Floyd Times’ editor. “But, publishing later in the month will actually help us keep all of the coverage together, creating an extra special and comprehensive keepsake for families.”
