County begins search for new administrator

Following the resignation of Floyd County's administrator, the county has begun a search for her replacement.

The county's job posting, created July 29, directs applicants for the position to the county attorney's office.

The county administrator is responsible for general management of the county's daily operations. The position implements the policies and directives of the Board of Supervisors.

This includes overseeing county departments, managing the budget, and ensuring efficient delivery of public services.

Millsaps had served as county administrator since 2021.
