Drive Your Tractor to School Day 2026
Community members voiced their support for the tradition and said it's a great way to support the next generation of farmers while also honoring those that are keeping the farm life alive and well.
Floyd County's members of the Future Farmers of America made their way to school on tractors last week during the annual Drive Your Tractor to School Day.
Twenty-eight tractors driven by club members rolled up to Floyd County High School on April 23. School officials called the event "a great way to celebrate or agricultural roots and the hardworking spirit of our community" and thanked Floyd County Sheriff's Office for helping with traffic control while students completed the route, which started at the Industrial Park.
