Three exhibitions are in their final month of display at the Floyd Center for the Arts, including one that features artists who live within 150 miles of the artistic hub.

“Atmospheric Enchantments and Earthly Astonishments” by Gina Louthian-Stanley explores the intersection of nature, texture, and light. Her layered compositions echo the rhythms of the Blue Ridge region while reflecting universal themes of renewal and wonder.

Through her use of encaustic and cold wax mediums, Louthian-Stanley creates luminous landscapes that blur the line between realism and emotion.  Each of her works usually begins without a preconceived image, and the finished product invites viewers to pause — to notice the fleeting beauty of the natural world and the quiet transformations that shape it.
