Pet of the Week
Shadow is a six-year-old spayed female, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She is feeling very scared with all the recent changes and just wants to hide.
Meet Shadow, the Floyd Humane Society's is our new shelter cat who has a sad, but not uncommon story to tell. Shadow came to us as an owner surrender; the son of an elderly parent who could no longer care for his pets.
Shadow came in with a cat buddy, that just got adopted, so to add to her confusion about being taken away from her owner and home, she no longer has best friend to commiserate with. She is a very good girl, who to no fault of her own, is trying to navigate her world being turned upside down.
Blue Mountain School is now accepting enrollment in our Early Childhood classes, ages 2 1/2 through first grade! To schedule a tour visit our website or contact the school at contact@bluemountainschool.net or by phone: 540-745-4234
