Floyd County Humane Society shelter dog Velma has been waiting far too long at the shelter for a place to call home. She loves kids, has a friendly, easygoing personality, and is happiest curled up for some quality snuggle time.
She does well with other dogs but wouldn’t mind being your one and only so she can soak up all the love.
Velma is housebroken, knows her commands, spayed, up to date on vaccines and has great manners — she’s more than ready for home life. Volunteers believe that after all this time waiting, Velma truly deserves her happy ending.
Call (540) 745-7207 to learn more about Velma, or any of FCHS' cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, and visit www.floydhumanesociety.org to complete an Adoption Application.
Plus, the Mountain View Humane Society's low-cost dog spay/neuter shuttle is coming to Floyd in May. Financial assistance available. Call (540)745-7207 to make an appointment. Open to Floyd County residents only.
