1, 2, 3, a simple numerical order that many in modern English learn from a very young age. This week's writing incorporates many different views and observations of timeless chaos and the sign of the times.

I figured it again this time.

Evil has pestered me,

beneath my fragile mind.

But I have resisted three,

two were tempting,

one was the world you see.

The one that has lied,

with the blind leading blind.

Making you question which side?

Which one is left? Which one is right?

What were real eyes that cried?

Where we all tried,

to take one, two, three steps right.

But we’ve been caught in the mind,

the devil’s only home like night.

Violence of the left, violence of the right.

One, two, three lies made,

telling us who holds this light.

But it’s from cold lips of decree,

cold grips of the hands that make us bleed.

Heaven’s light is what we need,

a safe high mountain,

a holy fountain from what is free.
