Rural Reflections: 'Summer (say)'
As we approach a brand new season, the most beloved season of all in the northern hemisphere, Summer, let us all come together and appreciate the warmth between us, I know for certain we all can exhibit.
Join our team of vendors every Saturday from April through November from 9am – 1pm. You’ll find delicious treats, unique crafts, lovely music, sweet conversations, and more. Let us come together in our vibrant small-town farmers market with the opportunity to mingle with neighbors and friends, old and new.
Summer (say)
In a world,
where nothing was left to the imagination.
While every form of news,
just left us in aggravation.
Let us hold hands
and head to a new destination.
A place of comfort,
some of the things are not infatuation.
Everyone is angry,
but left and right can smile admiration.
You see what I say?
Summer is what I’m wanting to stay.
A breeze softly walking,
warming the hearts of decay.
Seeing some kind of buzz,
from a compound to light the way.
To lead us away,
from this world of aggravation.
A world without hope,
and no salvation.
