This week's Reflection is based off of a present day observation of our political climate. Read it and interpret it as you will.

The ego maniac,
and five hundred under that.
Underneath a light,
which now flickers.
Working the keeper of night,
the stores and liquors.
Some want two bullets,
fueling divided deception.
So many homeless,
the talk of affection.
Flapping, pandering gums,
while they kill in the streets,
with hands and hammering guns.
While he or she will tax the air.
While they bend the knee,
give thanks to the wicked down there.
Never standing for us,
no matter the mouth which speaks right.
It’s getting a little colder,
underneath that flickering light.
Yes, yes, but no I don’t like.
If some people would see it,
then they just might, they just might.
See they love to be the kicker.
They get their kicks from the flicker.
The flicker of that slow dimming light.
