Education Grant Program is accepting applications from public schools.

Educators, administrators, counselors, support personnel, students, and PTA’s/PTO’s of public schools in the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, and Wythe, and the City of Radford are encouraged to apply for up to $1,500 in grant support.

Applications supporting basic student needs (such as clothing, food, or school supplies) are welcome, as are projects that enhance the classroom or school experience and/or support student clubs, afterschool programs, and extracurricular activities.

The application is open now with a deadline of 5pm on Friday, July 17. Interested applicants should apply through the CFNRV's online system. The system allows you to begin an application, save it, and return to it before submitting.

Be prepared to provide:

  • A summary of your project
  • The need(s) it addresses
  • The goals of the project
  • The intended impact and benefits
  • A project budget
