Get to know your candidates — Floyd County School Board

In an effort to inform Floyd County residents as much as possible before they vote in the Nov. 4 General Election, Floyd Times reached out to local candidates with an Election Questionnaire. Minimal editing has been done in order to include candidates’ complete thoughts.
The following is a statement received from incumbent Gene Bishop of Indian Valley. Courthouse District incumbent Deborah Snellings had not responded to Floyd Times’ questionnaire by the time of publication. Should answers to the questionnaire be received, they will be added to this article.
"Thank you to all the voters of the Indian Valley District for allowing me the privilege of representing you on the Floyd County School Board.
Together we have accomplished a lot, and with your vote and support we can continue to prosper toward a brighter future for our students and all of Floyd County.
May God Bless You and May God Bless America.
- C. Gene Bishop, Indian Valley
