Floyd Chamber receives grant to boost tourism through the holidays
In collaboration with the Town of Floyd, Floyd County, Floyd Tourism, Floyd Parks and Recreation, and local businesses, the Chamber aims to attract visitors, encourage overnight stays, increase holiday shopping, and strengthen the local economy.
The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a $5,000 matching grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) to promote Floyd as a holiday destination through its "Small Town Holidays" initiative.
The grant will support a marketing campaign highlighting Floyd's small-town charm, unique shops, local restaurants, Christmas tree farms, holiday festivities, and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
