The Old Church Gallery's "Protecting a Legacy of Cultural Artifacts" grant proposal recently received support from the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia’s Larry Woodrow Vest Fund, which will provide timely assistance to help alleviate environmental concerns for the museum building and ensure the preservation of the gallery's archival collections.
The Old Church Gallery explores and interprets valuable links between Floyd County's past and present creative makers. As a cultural arts museum, the gallery fosters awareness of the crafts, traditions, and creative arts from early settlement to the current arts scene.
