Floyd County residents gathered in front of the courthouse on Labor Day to protest the actions of the presidential administration and celebrate the working class as a part of nationwide “Workers Over Billionaires” demonstrations.

Everyone held a sign to support their message on Sept. 1, including “Due Process for All,” “Silence Equals Compliance," “People Over Profit,” “United We Bargain, but Divided We Will Beg,” “Labor Made the Middle Class” and more. Supporters of the demonstration honked as they passed by and received cheers in return.
