Wine and Chocolate at the Chateau — Chateau Morrissette is hosting its 2026 Wine and Chocolate event on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Feb. 13-15. Times are from noon until 2 p.m., 3-5 p.m., and 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14, and from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 15. Call (540) 593-2865 or email arubio@thedogs.com to make reservations.

Caturday Adoption Event — Prepare to fall in love at the Floyd County Humane Society's Valentine Caturday adoption event from noon until 2 p.m. at Phoenix Hardwoods in Floyd on Saturday, Feb. 14. Floyd Contra Dance — Join Floyd’s contra dancers for a special Valentine’s Day dance from 7-10:30 p.m. at the Floyd Center for the Arts (220 Parkway Lane S.) on Saturday, Feb. 14. The Rythmajigs will provide music, and Thea Nettleton will be calling. A beginner lesson starts at 7 p.m., followed by dancing at 7:30. Admission for adults is $10, students is $5, and children younger than 12 are admitted for free.
Handmade Heart Strings — SOLD OUT — The Handmade Music School is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner and Concert from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Floyd EcoVillage. Music will be provided by Handmade Music School students and teachers, and proceeds of the event will benefit HMS programming. Tickets are $50 per person.

Tim O’Brein with Jan Fabricius — Tim O’Brien and his wife Jan Fabricius have performed together nationally and internationally since 2015. The original songs on their new release “Paper Flowers” offer tangible proof of a deep collaboration, and serve as a narrative of the couple’s life together. Tim and Jan perform as a duo and in a band setting with bassist Mike Bub and fiddler Shad Cobb. Find the band at The Floyd Country Store from 7-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14. Rick and Wendy — Rick and Wendy have been playing music together for more than 25 years as members of The Kind and helping other bands. Their relationship began when Wendy asked Rick out during a set break at a Kind show 24 years ago. Hear a wide range of music from classic rock, folk, country, Grateful Dead, and maybe even a little bit of jazz thrown in for good measure, along with lots of laughs and smiles, at Dogtown Roadhouse, starting at 8 p.m., on Feb. 14. Free admission for the show at 302 S. Locust St.
