Floyd's Plein Air Biennial returns to feature 30 artists and the area's natural beauty
Visitors are encouraged to find artists painting throughout the week and experience the plein air process firsthand. The Biennial also includes free artist demonstrations, wet paint sales, special gatherings, the Friday Night Quick Draw, and the Public Gala Celebration and Art Sale.

The tradition began in the summer of 2024 after donations from many local businesses. Morgan Grimm, her family, and other attendees of Small Town Summer worked to cut out and decorate the letters of "FLOYD" and affix them to the side of the Handmade Music School, facing the Lineberry Stage.
