Events Christmas Parade rescheduled for this Sunday The procession will stage at the high school, make its way down Baker Street to south Locust, and turn right at the stoplight to show off their floats and spread holiday cheer along Main Street. It's estimated that the parade will last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Floyd County Government Supervisors approve new Land Division Ordinance with 4-1 vote Indian Valley Supervisor Kalinda Bechtold said while the revised version does not include protections of resources that she “would like to see,” it is important for the Board to have a new LDO in place as the previous one is “not reasonable” and “not functional, truly.”
